Introducing the newest addition to our Verified Step library: DeviceFarmer, the first open-source Verified Step in Bitrise 🎉

Introducing the newest addition to our Verified Step library: DeviceFarmer. With this announcement, we are also celebrating an important milestone by welcoming the first open-source Verified Step in Bitrise 🎉

About DeviceFarmer

Previously known as OpenSTF (STF: smartphone test farm), DeviceFarmer is a web application used for debugging Android smartphones, smartwatches, and other gadgets remotely, from the comfort of your browser.

A sneak peek into some of the amazing features:

  • Remote control any device from your browser: Capture screen recordings, review build logs or play around with gestures.
  • Monitor your device inventory: Check the status of devices, who is using them, track battery level and health, and search for devices when you need to.
  • Manage users and devices: Set filters to keep track of present, booked, annotated, controlled devices. Manage user permissions, quotas, and groups to always know what’s happening, where.

For the full list, visit DeviceFarmer’s official documentation.

You have an open-source project?

Bitrise Verified Steps are official integrations developed and maintained by the service owner. If you have an open-source project that you want to get verified, or create your very own Verified Step, read more about the program here.
