Welcome back to another Community Roundup, folks. Hope you're all doing well, and that you're ready for some great tweets and articles — let's get started, shall we?
Guides and articles
Our first article comes from Pramodya Abeysinghe over at Swift Diaries, and is titled “Using cloud based platforms for iOS app deploying”. Thank you so much for putting this together.
Next up is “CI/CD automation for mobile development from scratch”, as well as its continuation in part two, both written by Quang NGO. Amazing work, Quang — thanks for taking the time to write these.
This one comes from Ch3cooh, a new member of our Writers’ Program. The article is a follow-up to the one we saw last time — in this one, he takes a look at how the presence of the Firebase SDK affects the build times on Bitrise. Great job, and thanks for another awesome article!
Our next article comes from Cathandnya, another one of our Writer’s Program participants, and is about building MacOS applications with Bitrise. Awesome work, Cathandnya — thank you for another great piece.
Last but not least, we have an article from Maciek Malak over at Pro Android Dev, titled “Be effective with Bitrise CI for Android — lessons I learned the hard way”. Thanks for writing this, Maciek — we absolutely love it!

Next up, we have three tweets from some of our new Writers’ Program members: Bob, Ashdik, and Ch3cooh! They all commented about how happy they were that they were included, and we wanted to thank all of them for their enthusiasm. Hope you’re looking forward to your swag packages, everyone!
This one comes from Satoshi Baba, who gave us a shoutout about the first Japanese Online Bitrise User Group we’ll be having on the 28th of May. Hope to see you there, Satoshi!
Next up is a tweet by MilanistaDev, who shared our COVID-19 research we’re conducting with everyone. Thank you for the mention, and for sharing this — it is important for us to know how you’re feeling during these hard times, and we’re definitely grateful to everyone who can fill the survey out!
This one comes from Jarod Smith, who mentioned that he’s been using the platform a lot lately — and looks like he’s been having a great time with it, too. We’re so happy to hear, Jarod — keep us updated on how things are going.
We also saw an awesome shoutout from Ivan Morgillo, who not only recommended us to everyone, but also noted that he’s trying out UI testing and it’s going really well, and gave a cool example to Nick Skelton about what he’s doing with our hobby plan. Way to go, Ivan! Thank you for the kind words, and for recommending us, too.
Next up is a mention from Qst_exe, who commented on how easy and convenient to set up Bitrise is. Happy to hear you think so — let us know how things are going since setting everything up.
We also saw two tweets from Cari, who just started playing with the platform, and has already set up some pretty sweet things for a React project, and also took our auto-generated QR codes for a spin to test some stuff. Again, we’re so happy to hear you’re having fun — cheers!
Next up are two tweets from Rafe_kun, who gave us a shoutout for being awesome, plus for having the best UX out there. That means the world to us, Rafe_kun. Thank you!

This one comes from Hiroakit, who saw our page for Bitrise Step Contributors, and thought it would be a fun thing to try. We’re always excited to see more and more people join the ranks of our contributors and come up with new steps — thanks for also sharing this, Hiroakit.

We also wanted to say thanks to Craig Russel and Noureldeen, who recommended us to Martin De Wulf when he asked what the best CI tool for Android is. Cheers to both of you.
Next up is a tweet from Oliver Davy Comtois, who mentioned us and how good he thinks our support system is. Getting the feedback like this always makes our day, so thank you, Oliver.
This is so true. I do have to say, Bitrise made it a little better. I had a miserable week, but then discovered their help support was really pretty good. Like all CI there’s a lot of switches to throw but it seemed better thought out than say, my bete noir, Jenkins.— Oliver Davy Comtois (@Oliver_Comtois) May 13, 2020
We thought we’d end this roundup on this bittersweet tweet: Throwback Thursdays tend to be a bit sad nowadays thanks to the pandemic, but it’s always heartwarming to see all the people who have fond memories of meeting us aat conferences, and we hope we get to meet you all again soon. We miss you too, Hanyu!
That’s it for now, folks. If you have any great experiences or stories about using Bitrise, or would just love to share the progress you’re making on your current project with us, don't forget to do so on social media, or join our Writers' and Speakers' programs, and you might see yourself in our next set of highlights. Until then — happy building!
